    Program objectives

    1. To describe and interpret new genetic technologies in the assessment of hereditary gynecologic cancers
    2. To describe the principles of MR-guided interstitial radiotherapy
    3. To apply the principles of MR-guided interstitial radiotherapy in the treatment of regionally advanced gynecologic cancers
    4. To critically appraise the results of new radiotherapy trials in the management of endometrial cancer
    5. To examine the effect of long surgical wait times on cancer outcomes and the gynecologic cancer patient experience
    6. To summarize the practical aspects of prescribing medical marijuana
    7. To understand the importance of fear of recurrence in the gynecologic cancer patient experience
    8. To review the unique side effects of immunotherapy
    9. To evaluate response to immunotherapy by discussing IR RECIST criteria
    10. To update evidence on the use of dose dense chemotherapy for ovarian cancer
    11. To understand the reasoning behind tumour testing for BRCA prior to germline testing
    12. To describe new systemic therapies and discuss their role in the management of gynecologic cancer treatment

    Early bird registration available until March 19th!

    Cancellation and Refund policy: Fees to attend the CPD conference will be refunded if a written notice of cancellation is received no later than April 9, 2018. An administration fee of $50 will apply. Refunds will not be granted after this date.

    The cost of dinner will be refunded if a written notice of cancellation is received no later than April 17, 2018. An administration fee of $25 will apply. Refunds will not be granted after this date.

    About our Leadership Speaker
    On Friday April 27, join us for dinner and for the 17th Leadership Lecture at La Maquette with Dr. Nadine Caron, Canadian surgeon, notable for being the first Canadian female general surgeon of First Nations descent as well as the first female First Nations student to graduate from University of British Columbia’s medical school.
